WMW heads into the 2015 with the first of a number of significant developments.

Senior Welsh Government Minister, Edwina Hart MBE CStJ AM has agreed to contribute the Foreword to the Group’s 2015 Handbook further underlining WMW’s profile and presence in Welsh public life.

Chairman Huw Thomas and fellow committee members have been re-elected for a further two-year term and will continue to manage WMW matters through to the end of 2016.

Committee posts also remain as before: Simon Harris (vice-chairman and website editor); Graham Breeze (treasurer); Ian Johnson (membership secretary); Andrew Charman (handbook editor) all benefitting from the advice and wise counsel of president and WMW honorary life member, Terry Davies.

Huw Thomas commented: “Having arranged a meeting during last month’s Welsh Automotive Forum Annual Dinner and Awards, I am delighted to say Minister Edwina Hart AM was more than happy to contribute the foreword to our next handbook.

"This not only reflects our commitment to the Automotive sector in Wales but also the value of our relationship with WAF. Similarly, fellow committee colleagues and I deeply appreciate the resounding vote of confidence given by the membership and we will re-double our efforts to deliver for the Group during this year and next.”
